We loved this place! We were coming into Tennessee for a group trip with 7 people. It was the perfect meeting spot with plenty of space to be comfortable. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

We needed a quick visit for a soccer tournament, and James was excellent. He was flexible with getting us in earlier than we thought and was in constant communication in a tremendously timely manner. We had a great stay at James’ house! The neighborhood felt very safe and it was close to lots of restaurants and convenient spots. The house is older, but they’ve done such a cute job decorating and making it feel cozy and welcoming. Overall, a really comfortable and charming place to stay!

The house is conveniently located to MTSU and downtown. The interior is nice, it was clean, normal amenities. It is a nice stay for a day or two. Some items were worn out or missing, such as the couch and the remote for the ceiling fan. We ended up not hanging out in the living room because of those two factors. Without the ceiling fan remote, we were unable to turn the fan down and it was at top speed. Owners were nice and quick to communicate.

We loved staying at James's place. It was quiet and out of the way, which is exactly what we were looking for. We were visiting friends before heading to the Smoky Mountains, and it was the perfect spot. James was very helpful, even taking an early Sunday morning call when we were all too tired to see the thermostat on the wall! LOL Thank you! We would definitely recommend it and/or stay again.

James & Laramy are excellent hosts and the leaf lodge was a perfect spot for my family. The fenced in yard was a hit for the kids too! This is our 2nd time staying at this airbnb and we will be back again!

This house is situated on a quiet side street to the northeast of Downtown Murfreesboro and northwest of MTSU. The three bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped, and a fenced backyard provides plenty of space for kids to enjoy outdoor play. Would happily visit again.

Old house but updated and clean. On our arrival, lacking some basic amenities…only three clothes hangers for entire house, only one toilet paper holder for 2 bathrooms, outdoor furniture mildewed, ice maker did not work, dirty filter in hallway ceiling but owner did correct some issues that were brought to their attention.

Absolutely the most comfortable beds! That is the most important thing about air bnb’s to me. Was only there for a night and it was amazing. Comfy furniture and one more thing to add here was the smell of fresh laundry in the towels and wash cloths. Very clean. Very quiet. Amazing stay. I will be back.

Looks like the photos; clean; quiet; super comfy beds and pillows (like, I took everything off the pillows to find out what kind they were and then immediately ordered my own from Amazon). Smooth check-in and check-out. Kind of enjoyed the cemetery views from the back porch - at least those neighbors are quiet!

We used this house as an overnight stay during a road trip! We actually wish we had more time! The house is perfect. Clean, cute, spread out and welcomed our dogs! Loved the outdoor space! We would love to stay here again!!

We found the home to be exactly as described and we felt comfortable in the area. The house was perfect for bringing dogs for the dog show and the fenced in yard was extremely important as our dogs were able to exercise after a long day of showing. The beds were super comfortable and the house was stocked with everything we needed. I definitely will rebook next show.

This home is the perfect place for small families, couples trip, etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our dogs. The large back yard with the full privacy fence gave them plenty of room to run and play without being distracted. Neighborhood is very quiet and close to shopping, restaurants, etc.

Good home in a quiet neighborhood and large backyard. One thing to note is door to backyard is off a bedroom. James was responsive and immediately helped on an issue we had. House is very close to campus. Neighborhood was quiet.

A++++ for the hosts! I stayed at this place with my pup on a road trip where everything seemed to go wrong! The hosts went above and beyond multiple times including after hours. Extremely kind and ethical! I will forever be appreciative. The house has lots of room and one bedroom/bath is separate from the other two so great for bigger parties. We saw lots of friendly dogs walking the neighborhood before we left :)

This was a super cute place! Clean and cozy. We had 6 people and there was MORE than enough space for all of us. It was helpful that the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, mixer, cups, bowls, plates, etc. We didn’t need to get any of the essentials to make food which was nice. The deck was super cute! If it wouldn’t have been so hot, we would have used it more. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet. We walked the streets a few times and only had a car pass us twice. The area is a little older but it’s peaceful and this house is clearly recently renovated, providing a great experience! We had a mini birthday lunch for my aunt who came with us (just the 6 of us) so the photos just include some of the little decorations we had up for a day for the lunch, and it worked out so well!

We own a moving business in Memphis, TN. When we have a large crew is on the road, finding a house for them to stay in is always better than a hotel. James's home was perfect to ensure our crew was able to get a good night's sleep after a long day on the road. Not only did I save money by renting James's home for our crew but it was also less stressful for our crew. They were quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure our crew had everything they needed during their short stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Any questions I had were answered quickly. This is an older house but has been updated. Floors were a little creaky but that didn't bother our group. The location was pretty central to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

James’ place was exactly what we needed in the middle of a long road trip. The communication was fantastic and above and beyond. He made sure we would have no issues getting into the house as we were arriving later in the evening. The home was extremely comfortable for our family, and everything was very clean (I even let my kid take a bath in the bathtub which I am often very skeptical of)! If we weren’t heading out camping, would’ve enjoyed staying longer. Will definitely remember if I ever need a stop in the area again.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I totally would!! The place is absolutely beautiful, clean, and felt right at home. James made sure we were taken care of during our stay. Not one problem occurred. My dogs loved the backyard. The kitchen had everything and was super clean. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was a tv in every bedroom, which we really enjoyed. You also can’t beat the location. There’s a Walmart and tons of fast food just down the road. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It was absolutely our favorite stay. If you’re doubting about this place, let this be your sign to book it because you will not regret it!!

I really enjoyed staying at James's place! The setup of the house is perfect with the main bedrooms and bathrooms being split on opposite sides of the house. In fact, one of the cabinets hinges was loose and we contacted James and they had one of the owners over to fix the problem promptly & swiftly. Larimer also gave us many suggestions on places to eat and check out during our stay. Super friendly. we would most definitely stay here again. Also, check in & out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We all appreciated the only thing we had to do was run the dishwasher before leaving. The rest was super easy and quickly taken care of. It made us feel like we were on vacation. It seems most other places practically have you clean and wash everything before check out. This rental allowed my family to stay with another family traveling to Murfreesboro for soccer training. We were able to cook meals at the house and greatly enjoyed the space to stay, have the space to move around in a house vs a hotel.

Beautiful, charming home in a lovely neighborhood! Tree lined street, quiet, close to MTSU and the Square. The rooms are all decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the coffee set up - host is great!

The place was very beautiful, well maintained and clean. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable. We travelled with our 5 months old infant and due to new place our baby had a bad night and he slept very late. The check out time was 10 AM and we requested James to extend our time so our baby could sleep well before we hit back the road and James was very kind and understanding to accommodate our request. I would 100% recommend his place.

The Leaf Lodge was a perfect location for our friend-get together before our other friends’ wedding in Beechgrove! Only about 40 minutes from Nashville and 30 minutes from the venue- it was perfect! Easy access to grocery stores and food options :) The ‘bnb was super cute and a super great price <3 would definitely stay again!

Came to Murfreesboro for a tennis tournament. Great location - good restaurants nearby / OldFort park with walking /biking trails/ tennis courts/ playground also nearby. The home was in beautiful shape - It feels like home the minute you walk in - Clean / Easy Checkin / Great Host - easy to communicate. The fenced in backyard - made it private to sit out on deck with our morning coffee and our dog loved the room to chase the ball. Definitely would stay here again - and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel like you are 'Home" when travelling.

We were needing a place to stop over before continuing our drive home. The Leaf Lodge was a nice cozy place to rest and relax. There was plenty of room for our whole family. The kids enjoyed playing in the back yard, watching some tv and playing chess. We did do some exploring around the area and found a beautiful park with a waterfall. Also, when a mishap happened in the kitchen and we messaged to let them know about some damage, instead of being concerned about any damage to the property, James asked if I was okay first thing. It meant a lot that they were concerned about the guests well-being. James was always responsive and congenial. Thank you for hosting our family!

James the host cares and goes out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. It was super clean and well decorated. The kitchen had all you need for cooking. The appliances were upgraded stainless steel and seemed new. Nice dining table. Living room has a large smart TV and James added a nice touch of providing games if you prefer. It rained a lot while we were there but found some time to enjoy the back deck which has a table and chairs to enjoy an outside meal or just coffee. Our stay was nice and will definitely book again !!!

Our stay at this Airbnb was awesome! The place looked exactly like the photos, super clean, and had everything we needed. The king and queen beds were so comfy. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, though it's an older one and backs up to a cemetery. James was an extremly responsive host and made the stay even better. But overall, it was a great spot to stay and it was close to everything. I would definitely stay there again!

Our family of 8 stayed when we were in town for a funeral. The boys and I practiced baseball in the fenced-in yard. There were 4 TVs and plenty of board games, so everyone was entertained. The kitchen was well-stocked to prepare meals. There is a tankless water heater, so we never ran out of hot water. Overall, it was a great place to stay for our family.

This was the perfect location to stay at. We had a tournament at the college and this was very convenient. If we are ever back on the area we would stay here again.

No complaints. Backs up to a quiet cemetary. Wish there was a mailbox on the road. We had to circle the block bc we weren't looking at the house for the number. But the house itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated.

This place has raised my standards for Murfreesboro! I will be contacting James for all my future lodging needs. We had everything we needed. We had games, all the towels and wash clothes, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee, dishwasher tabs, and cleaning supplies if we needed them. We had plenty of room for our family without feeling like we were in each others way. Also it was pouring the rain the entire weekend we were there and I appreciate the back door and gate so we didn’t have to walk through puddles. Communication was great from James! I would highly recommended staying at the Leaf lodge!

We stayed in Murfreesboro, TN for 2 nights during a huge snowstorm with our 2 dogs. Roads were terrible and many businesses shut down. When we got to our house, we were really pleased at how well-maintained and roomy it was. The house has been completely redone and much attention to detail went into all of that work. On the second night, we had an issue with our heat not working, and James immediately came over to help us, bringing three space heaters to help us out. James was super responsive and helpful when I asked for suggestions about restaurants (which were ultimately closed). The fenced yard was perfect for our two dogs. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Murfreesboro again.

The home was absolutely adorable and the kids were in love with the bunk beds. Everything that we needed was there and it was very accessible to all major stores on the main drive. The drive into Nashville was not bad at all and we truly enjoyed the stay. We’d definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Murfreesboro.

James's home was the perfect location for our group of 6 traveling for our daughters to tour apartments and the MTSU campus. The rooms and amenities were the best set up for our larger group. They even had a Taboo game we all had a lot of fun playing. The Christmas tree was a warm and homey touch! The kitchen had everything we needed, as most meals were cooked at home. We will certainly stay here in the future, since we will have kids at school in walking distance soon!

This place is just lovely. We felt right at home right away. Everything was easily accessible (no stairs or confusing linen closets) and there was plenty of everything (coffee, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc). Anyone traveling with little kids or folks with disabilities (we have both!) will find this a comfortable and easy place to stay.

James and Laramy have done wonders with this quaint home in a convenient location! The decor was lovely, and the house was very clean. The hosts were responsive to all of our concerns. There is one thing to note when considering this house if you are bringing your dog. The fence does not fully enclose the backyard. There are gaps at both back corners of the property. I'm not one to just throw my dogs in the yard and leave them unattended, so I was right on top of things when my dog escaped! I talked to James about this, and he has assured me that he is going to fix the problem immediately. He was honest and forthcoming with us throughout the process, so I believe he will fix it; however, I advise dog owners to walk to the back corners and make sure they're secure. After developing a good professional relationship with James, I would be confident about staying there again if he told me he fixed the fence.

The Leaf Lodge was very cute, cozy, and nicely decorated! My family loved the fact that there was a small Christmas tree lighted inside upon our arrival. This was a nice touch being so close to the holidays. It is conveniently located to several restaurants and stores making it a great location. Also, it has a nice large, fenced-in backyard which was perfect for our dogs to play. James was easy to work with and flexible making our stay a great experience. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a week during Thanksgiving to be close to family. This house was perfect for us - nice sized bedrooms, updated bathrooms, well-appointed kitchen where we cooked several meals. Neighborhood is quiet, some noise from the street but my kids were not bothered. We would rent this place again!

This is such a nice AirB&B. It has very comfortable beds, nice furnishings and is very clean. James provides everything you could possibly need. This will be our go to place to stay, if my niece ends up going to college at MTSU.

My wife, two Labs and I spent a night at Leaf Lodge on our way from S.C. to Idaho. It was perfect. Great big fenced back yard. Clean. Orderly. Great communication with the owner. And, had essentially anything one might need or look for. I highly recommend Leaf Lodge for anyone looking in that area.

+ nice compact & cozy place + brilliant location + neat and clean + well organized + all necessary amenities taken care of +++ very responsive hosts. They go beyond to make us comfortable! One area of improvement may be the cost. A little less pricey and it will be a fantastic value for money! On the whole, I will definitely come back again!

We had a great time reuniting with friends from another state at The Leaf Lodge! We had 4 adults & 4 small children and it was just perfect. The backyard patio area was great to hang out in the afternoons. Especially since it was fenced in. The neighborhood was very quiet. Lots of gas stations/storea in the surrounding area. The rooms were clean and cozy. Overall super happy with our stay.

This place is wonderful. Inside is very comfortable and outside has a fenced in yard with a nice deck to sit on after a long days drive. Quiet neighborhood. Definitely would stay again if I’m in the area.

The home is perfect for a family with up to four young children and an additional adult couple. The backyard is fenced and huge with a deck and plenty of privacy. Since the property backs up to a cemetery you won't have any problem with noisy neighbors from that direction. The kitchen has all you need for meal preparation and the dining area seats six. Plenty of dishes, flatware, cookware and utensils, too. Beds were comfy, dressers and closets large enough for the rooms. Onsite washer and dryer sure was convenient. The living room hss a nice large flatscreen TV which we watched quite a bit. We definitively enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.

We were driving from TX to PA and the Leaf Lodge was our mid-stop resting place. After a long drive it was so great to arrive at a very clean and cozy house. The Leaf Lodge wall is unique I haven’t seen that anywhere else. The bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Great fenced in backyard, the fur baby loved that. Really loved our stay and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay as we came to town to welcome our granddaughter to the world. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of space for the four of us. We liked it enough to book it again in April. Hosts quickly responded to messages. Location is great-we know the area well and you can easily get to anywhere in town from this houses location.

We stayed here because my 10 month old son was having surgery at Vanderbilt. The owners were kind enough to leave us a bag of snacks for the hospital along with the most thoughtful card. It made our stay even better!! The house is adorable and has been updated so well. Would highly recommend!

The Leaf Lodge had been our first stop on our way south from Missouri to Florida a couple of weeks earlier. We had several odd adventures with other rentals on our trip, so we were really looking forward to our return to this nice place. It felt almost like coming home when we were rather worn out and ready for our last night on the road. The home is so comfortable with everything we needed for our stay, and it had a welcoming atmosphere with some of the lights on for us when we arrived. We were due to arrive earlier than the 4 pm check-in time, and James gave us permission to check in a little early, which allowed us to drop off some of our belongings and spend a little time outdoors before it got dark. In all of our travels so far, the Leaf Lodge is our favorite place. We wish there were more good rentals like this one wherever we travel.

This was our best experience an Airbnb so far. A nice, clean, comfortable home with everything we needed. I usually have a hard time sleeping when we travel because I am sensitive to many things. But I didn't have any problems here. My 21-year old son loved the bedroom with its own bathroom and deck that was sort of separate from the other bedrooms. Although it is an older house, it has the feel of a more modern place, with nice furniture and appliances. We also liked the matching dishes and tableware. Some other places where we've stayed provide a bunch of mismatched stuff, so this was especially nice. We have booked for our return trip, and we are so glad we get to stay here again.

Christmas in Tennessee!!! Our family really enjoyed the newly renovated house . Super clean, cozy and well decorated with new furniture. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped with all the basics that you need just in case if you forgot.. We love the backyard very peaceful. James is a great host, He sincerely checked on us twice to see if we needed anything . Perfect location, I am glad that I found and book this place it was just perfect! The Leaf Lodge had everything we needed for our trip to Murfreesboro. There was room for us to spread out and visit with family and the kids loved the bunk room. Lots of restaurants within a short drive. The deck was great, just wish it was warmer so we could have enjoyed it more.

Very pleased with back deck and fenced yard. Super nice spot great layout with lots of room. Close to places to eat and cute neighborhood. Good space for parking with easy checkin and check out.
