Adorable Loft Above Bella | King Bed

We stayed in this quaint 1 BR for one night. Great location for everything downtown Maryville!

Quick responses, kind and generous host, and wonderful location. We highly recommend this space. The bed was super comfortable, everything was very clean, and overall had a wonderful stay! Do not hesitate to book.

It was SO clean and is decorated beautifully. I loved being able to walk downstairs and have dinner or drinks at a variety of restaurants all around. I still a great location for many of the attractions in Knoxville and surrounding areas. I will definitely be coming back.

The loft above Bella was a great stay! James was a great host, and kept us nicely in the loop from check-in (and before) all the way through checkout. I have no doubt that James is an excellent host across any of his places.

I did not know the unit was above a restaurant and there were a lot of stairs. The restaurant was not overly noisy, but you could hear it. My husband has a bad knee so the stairs were a bot of an issue. The restaurant downstairs (Bella) was excellent.

James was a fantastic host—very responsive and quick to reply each time we reached out. The unit was missing a few towels when we arrived, but he addressed it right away and made sure everything was taken care of promptly. The location was great, too. We loved dining at Ravens, a nearby steakhouse, and had a great time at Two Boors Down and Blue Tick Tavern, both fun spots with live music. Mercantile is also a charming little shop close by that’s worth a visit. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We visited Maryville, KY to see Max Hightower at the Bluetick Tavern which is right across the street from James' apartment. Though we stayed only one night we had a wonderful time and James place was perfect. It was quaint, clean and very inviting.

Great location and easy access to everything in town. City living without the traffic. Parking is very convenient as well.

Excellent and prompt communication from booking to checkout. Centrally located to many restraunts, shops, and bars. Super clean and well appointed place that won't disappoint. Excellent launching pad to see peaceful side of the Smokies.

This was an amazing stay for my fiancé and I. The place was very well kept, clean, had a comfy bed, and peaceful surroundings. Location was easy to find, right in downtown Maryville, and great restaurants all around. Instructions written were very clear and host responded quickly! I would highly recommend this place.

This was my second stay in one of James and Laramy’s units above Bella Restaurant. I enjoyed my stay last summer so much that I immediately booked two additional units for a family visit over the holidays. I love the historic, urban loft feel - all 3 units I've been in now have the same "vibe," were extremely clean, and well stocked with kitchen gadgets, quality TV, and a comfortable bed. Having two units this time was perfect for our family: we could spend evenings together after being out during the day, while still having privacy. If you’re deciding between the four top-floor units above Bella, the Bricks over Broadway unit (front of the building) has better views and more space with a large dining table and sectional sofa, but also more street noise. This unit (on the back side) was slightly smaller but much quieter once Bella closed. I preferred the quiet, but you really can’t go wrong either way! James and Laramy have been great communicators across all my stays!

This is my favorite repeat spot to stay at in this area. I highly recommended staying here anytime you’re in the area, but staying during the Christmas season provided an even greater elevated experience given all the holiday decor in downtown. Walking to and from restaurants at night will look and feel like you’re on the set of a Christmas movie. I love the hustle and bustle of this busy area, but it quietens down when the restaurants close later in the evening. Noise has never been an issue for myself while staying here when it comes to sleep. There is a noise-canceling machine on the nightstand, if needed. The bed has great linens and sleeps wonderfully. The unit is fully stocked and always clean. The pictures accurately reflect the space. Another highlight of this specific unit is a balcony that provides a great sunset view.

We rented the condo for my sons weekend wedding. We were just a few doors down from the wedding venue. Absolutely the perfect set up for us.

Great little space in quaint downtown area. Apartment was comfortable and easy to get to. It is up a flight of stairs with no elevator, so may prove inaccessible for some people. Only real complaint was the noise. The host warned us that, because the apartment is located above a restaurant, we would hear some of the crowd, but advised that it would die down around closing, which it did. Unfortunately (and maybe this was just bad timing), the cleaning crew came in later and started cleaning carpets; the first night from 11:30pm-1:00am, the second night from 12:30am-after 2:00am (along with very loud singing). This was very loud and definitely impacted our sleep.

Lovely studio apartment in the heart of downtown Maryville. Not an issue for us, but there are a couple of flights of stairs to climb.

This was a very clean and cute loft above Bella, but if you’re noise sensitive, be aware the restaurant can be a little loud at times. The host did provide sound machines to help. They were very responsive and kind. Definitely recommend!

Nice place in downtown Maryville with plenty of food and drinks nearby. Only negative of the stay is that the restaurant downstairs stays open quite late, and cleaning can get a bit loud late at night. It wasn't a problem for me, but I could see light sleepers getting frustrated.

When I needed to make arrangements late in the evening, I was able to secure my say in this place within 15 minutes. Super convenient. And what an adorable location in downtown Merriville, Tennessee. I love the convenience of the Bella restaurant being directly downstairs. The place was nice and tidy and just the perfect size. For sure we’ll be staying at this location again.

Great home! There is some noise from the restaurant below but it didn't affect conversation or sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

I travel all over the world, and this trip was an emotional trip as we dropped our youngest off to college. Not only was this location perfect for us. James found out why we were here and constantly checked on us to make sure we were doing OK. We will be coming back often and will always stay here. Cannot recommend enough.

Loved the loft charm with modern amenities and the roof porch; I only wish it was cool enough to sit outside and enjoy coffee or an adult beverage… maybe next time! 100% walkability to restaurants, especially my new favorite Italian restaurant, Bella!

This was just a perfect overnight getaway!

Such a pretty space to stay in a great location and it was so clean! Walkable to multiple restaurants, coffee shops and boutique stores. The room and kitchen has everything you could need to feel like home. The white noise machine was a perfect touch if you go to bed before the restaurant below closes just in case you can hear their noise (which really isn't that loud). I had an unpredictable issue with the space and James responded very quickly and went above and beyond to find a fast resolution for the remainder of my stay. I would happily stay in any of his rentals again!

I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the location to the loft apartment to the ease of getting around, this was such a great stay. I was in Maryville for work but staying here felt more like a vacation! I hope to be back soon.

Had some issues with hotel and it didnt go through. I messaged James and Laramy about their airbnb, and they messaged me back right away. They let us stay there on very short notice! The stay was great, they thought of everything and even had a sound machine by the bed. Across the road is a bar called Bluetick that we fell in love with, so tasty and great beers on draft. Cute little town, everyone is friendly, alot of places in walking distance. 10/10 :)

I stayed in the Bella Loft and ate dinner at the Bella Restaurant and had an amazing stay! The flat had everything I needed and more and the bed was perfection! I do hope I get another reason to go to Maryville again so I can stay here again! The host was so communicative and helpful and the walk around area was so quaint and convenient! I would give them more stars if I could!

This is a hidden gem. The Maryville area is big enough to have things to do, but not small enough to be quaint. The loft is a great size for one or two people. Easy access, very well stocked, and very clean. The owners were super responsive to anything that I needed or questions I had. I love the outside area, just downstairs in the front where shops and restaurants and in the back within walking distance was a river and a Greenway that surround the river. A beautiful area and a fun place to spend time. I felt perfectly safe alone. It is over a restaurant so Friday and Saturday night I could hear the restaurant activity, but it calmed down around 11 o’clock, so it was no big deal. Highly recommend this Airbnb.

Blue Bella was absolutely marvelous. I completely fell in love with the space, the vibe, the decor, everything! I could not have been more comfortable during my stay—I felt right at home, and the bed was amazing!

Both James and Laramy were probably the most accommodating and generous hosts I think we’ve experienced. I stayed there as a single woman and felt safe. I was a bit surprised by the number of steps to get into the building though it wouldn’t prevent me from staying there again. Everything was comfortable and as pictured, it would be great if they could figure out how to fix the door so it could open more going into the apartment. Even for me as a very light sleeper, the restaurant noise didn’t especially bother me and I enjoyed the restaurant’s proximity a lot. They went above and beyond by giving me contacts to rent a kayak, and found a young man I could pay to help me move my luggage to my car upon departure. 5 stars

Really cute place. Comfortable for two people. Door is difficult to open since it scrapes the floor. There are several steps to get to the room. It was super convenient to get dinner at the nice Bella Restaurant downstairs. We enjoyed the proximity to the greenway. Overall great experience.

This is our second time staying in these lofts. They are very cozy spaces in Downtown Maryville. They're perfect if you're visiting family and have a car for transportation. The bed is comfortable and everything was very clean. We'll definitely stay here again when we're in Maryville!

Don’t overlook this one! This will be my go to place when in the area. During my stay I was traveling alone on business. I felt completely safe coming and going, at all hours day/night. The unit provided everything needed for my trip including the ability to cook meals, without any issues. However, there are several restaurants right outside the front entrance, if you don’t want to cook. I found the unit as it was described. The unit has a balcony/patio. I was lucky enough to be staying here when it snowed. The patio allowed for me to “enjoy” the snow. Parking was free across the street. I found the street, sidewalks, and parking lot were de-iced and clear of snow. Yes, it’s a very busy area and there is some noise from the restaurant downstairs, during the early evenings. But, I found the noise wasn’t a nuisance and it never interrupted me. I never heard slamming doors, screaming kids, loud TVs, or anything like you would hear in a hotel. Can’t wait to come back!
